Why these prices?
Because the alternative is €18–45k/yr just for cabinet FTO, another €50k/yr for a Reaxys seat, and €5–50M per litigation when a claim is invalidated under G 2/21 or Amgen v. Sanofi. IPZilla folds the landscape engine, the Claim Interpretation Lattice, and the 69-failure legal cartography into one workflow. The price reflects what we replace, not what an SaaS dashboard typically charges.
How does IPZilla compare to a patent cabinet?
A cabinet bills hourly. A senior CPI at €450–€650/h drafts a provisional in ~40 hours. We pre-draft the cascade-4-couches and apply the legal cartography in software, then your counsel reviews, signs and files in roughly 4 hours. We do not replace the mandataire — we replace the 36 hours of cartography work that sits in front of the signature.
How does the CIL trade-secret access work for Enterprise?
The Claim Interpretation Lattice publishes interpretations in a sanitised form on Founder and Scale. Enterprise customers receive the full internal traces — the 10⁵–10⁸ interpretations per claim along with the confidence-weighted axis decompositions, plus the un-redacted UPC CoA 528/2024 and G 1/24 mappings used by our strategists. Access is gated by NDA and a per-tenant key.
Can I upgrade mid-year?
Yes. Upgrades are pro-rated to the day. Quotas refresh immediately to the new tier on the date of upgrade. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal so we do not strip running landscapes mid-flight.
Is there a discount?
No. Annual is 12× the monthly rate. We deliberately do not run founder discounts, multi-year coupons, or negotiated SaaS theatre — this is a tool used by Big Pharma IP directors and Series-A biotech CSOs, and the price needs to be the same on both sides of the table. Volume above the Enterprise quota is negotiated directly.
How do PROV drafts get filed?
IPZilla outputs an INPI-grade provisional or full application in the format your office expects (USPTO, EPO, INPI, JPO, CNIPA, UKIPO). Filing itself is performed by your mandataire or counsel of record — we are not a registered representative. Scale and Enterprise customers can route the filing through our partner cabinet network if they prefer a one-button flow.
What happens to my data?
Your landscapes, claim drafts and CIL traces are stored in an isolated per-tenant namespace. We do not train models on your private filings or unpublished drafts — ever. The base CIL is trained on the public patent corpus only. Enterprise on-prem deployments keep all artefacts inside your VPC.
GDPR + sovereignty for EU clients?
Default storage region is EU (Paris). DPA + Standard Contractual Clauses are signed at contract; sub-processor list is published and pinned to your tenant. SOC 2 Type II reports are available under NDA. For sensitive Enterprise deployments we offer fully air-gapped on-prem with signed model-weight artefacts.
